We are seeking a dedicated and motivated professional to join our Learning Enhancement Team, supporting students in Years 7-12. This role involves assisting students with diverse learning needs and fostering their growth and potential.

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated professional to join our Learning Enhancement Team, supporting students in Years 7-12. This role involves assisting students with diverse learning needs and fostering their growth and potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to students, both individually and in small groups, to facilitate learning and participation.
  • Assist students with high support needs in academic and life skills throughout the school day.
  • Support student transitions across school settings and encourage social integration.
  • Implement and support learning adjustments tailored to individual student needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality and integrity in all interactions.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Undertake other duties as required by the Head of College or her delegate.

Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate III or IV in School-Based Education Support or a related qualification.
  • Experience in an educational setting, particularly supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
  • Understanding of assessment provisions and classroom support strategies.
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check and Child Protection training.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Commitment to supporting the school’s Orthodox ethos.
