Broad objective

The Roseville College TAS and Mathematics departments are committed to ongoing improvement, innovation, and excellence in learning.

We are seeking an innovative, creative, engaging, professional and highly motivated Computing and Mathematics Teacher for a FTE 0.8 ongoing position commencing in Term Two 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful applicant will be a dedicated and collaborative educator, demonstrating an understanding of contemporary pedagogy and having proven ability to promote authentic, rigorous and engaging learning experiences for students within the Computer, Technology and Mathematics space.

Qualifications, skills and experience

  • Previous experience teaching Mathematics from years 7 -10.
  • Previous experience teaching Stage 5 Computing Studies with a proven ability to construct and facilitate engaging learning experiences within this curriculum.
  • A willingness to teach Stage 4 Mandatory Technology.
  • Be accredited with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to be eligible to teach in NSW.
  • Experienced, highly effective, innovative and motivated educator with a passion for learning and teaching.
  • Proven ability to differentiate instruction and personalise learning within the classroom.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and to be self-motivated
  • Be flexible and approachable.
  • Possess strong ICT competencies.
  • Alignment to College values.
  • Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College.
  • Actively support the Christian mission and values of the College.
