St Patrick's Primary in Holbrook is looking for a Permanent Part-Time Classroom and Learning Support to join their wonderful team to help our students learn and grow, role to commence April 2025

We are a vibrant co-educational Catholic systemic primary school in the Diocese of Wagga Wagga, catering for students Kindergarten-Year 6. We pride ourselves on our welcoming community. Classroom and Learning Support

Working across Kindergarten to Year 6, the Classroom and Learning Support provides additional support to teachers and students. They perform a range of tasks including preparing and maintaining the classroom and assisting teachers deliver planned education programs to individual students or small groups.

What We Can Offer

  • Permanent Part-Time Position
  • Commencing 28th April 2025
  • Work Schedule 8 hours per week.
    • Tuesday 9.00am-1.05pm and Thursday 9.00am-1.05pm
    • Days can be negotiable

  • Salary: Level 4: $36.12 per hour Averaged (term-time only)

Selection Criteria

  • Commitment to Catholic Faith and Values
  • Experience in working with students with additional needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the classroom teacher and other Teacher Assistants
  • Demonstrated proficiency in web-based applications found in the contemporary school setting
  • Enthusiasm and ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to support student learning in numeracy and literacy or other special projects
  • Ability to assist students with learning activities, both individually and in groups.
  • Ability to follow instructions and implement teacher-directed activities.
  • While not always mandatory, a Certificate III or IV in School Based Education Support is often highly regarded.
  • Prior experience working with children in an educational or related setting is often preferred.
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Successful candidate to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
