Specific Criteria
We invite applications from practising Catholics who actively contribute to the life and community of a Parish.
- Middle leadership experience demonstrated by Lead Teacher practice or equivalence as described in the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
- Effective leadership, development, implementation and/or evaluative experience of curriculum, assessment and reporting
- Successfully led an effective school improvement initiative that improved the learning experience and outcomes for all students
- Effectively made use of data and evidence to inform and drive improvement
- Demonstrated experience leading and/or responding to transformation and change
- Demonstrated experience in creating a cohesive team environment
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence people to positively contribute to achieving outcomes
- The ability to create an environment for people to work productively and purposefully
- A track record of managing self to meet deadlines, deliver high quality work with emotional self-awareness and awareness of others
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to engage with and evaluate relevant research, best practices and data to inform future practices
- A keen eye for detail to deliver consistently accurate and informed written and verbal communications suitable for the receiving audience
- NESA approved undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in Teaching or Education & RE
- Post-graduate qualifications (or working towards) in a related subject area (e.g. Leadership, Theology/RE, Educational Leadership) from an approved tertiary institution
- Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in a CSBB school (i.e. Level E)
- Accreditation at (or working towards) Lead Teacher (desirable though not essential)
- Valid Working with Children Check
