Faith Lutheran College is an independent co-educational school located in Plainland, Queensland, just west of Brisbane. Established in 1999, the College was founded by the Lutheran Church with the aim of providing a faith-based, high-quality education to students in the Lockyer Valley region. Currently offering education to secondary students in Years 7-12, Faith Lutheran College Plainland is about to embark on an exciting new chapter with the first years of its Primary School commencing from 2027. The Financial Operations Manager is a key leadership position within the College. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role oversees the integrity and efficiency of all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, compliance, reporting and risk mitigation. Leading a multi-functional team, the Financial Operations Manager ensures sound financial governance, contributes to long-term strategic planning, and upholds the College’s commitment to service, excellence and sustainability through adaptive leadership and forward-thinking financial stewardship.
Key Selection Criteria:
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and hold relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce or a related field. CPA/CA qualifications will be highly regarded.
