About the Role

The Middle or Senior School Wellbeing Coordinators work directly to the Head of Middle and Senior Schools and under the strategic leadership of the Director of Student Wellbeing. Along with the Faculty Coordinators and Studies Coordinators they make up the leadership team under the Head of School. This team provides Christian leadership, implementation of the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the Middle and Senior School.

They operate as part of the Whole School Wellbeing Team under the Director of Student Wellbeing. The Student Wellbeing Coordinators are responsible for the overall development of programs and practices relating to student wellbeing, pastoral care and the management of behavioural development in conjunction with the Head of Middle and Senior School.

The Student Wellbeing Coordinators are a full-time Position of Responsibility 2 (PR2) and will undertake a 0.56FTE teaching load.

  • A sharp, research-informed progressive vision of learning and teaching and the capacity to create a rich and invigorating learning environment in a Christian learning community of excellence.
  • A gifted, dynamic teacher with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the development and educational needs of students and a passion for encouraging them in faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Excellent academic qualifications and subject knowledge.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to relate with compassion, humility, grace, strength and integrity to students, families and staff.
  • Excellent leadership and administrative skills, including team building, coaching and mentoring.
  • Flexibility to work the hours required to meet critical timelines and other responsibilities of your role.
