Your New Role

As a Classroom Teacher, you’ll inspire young minds, foster a positive learning environment, and develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. You’ll also provide individual attention to students, addressing their unique needs, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes. By building strong relationships with parents and guardians, you’ll support student success and make a lasting impact on their lives.

Essential Criteria

  • An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education
  • Appropriate qualifications
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the K-6 curriculum and the ability to implement effective pedagogical practices
  • Has the ability to develop and deliver a differentiated curriculum reflecting the use of data and quality assessment practices
  • Is able to develop a positive learning environment using effective classroom management strategies that enhance student wellbeing and learning outcomes
  • Shows flexibility, organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and develop positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • NSW NESA Accreditation
