Position: Teacher Assistant

Tenure 0.67 FTE Ongoing

30 hours per week

8:30 am – 3:00 pm Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)

Commencement: 7th April 2025

Sacred Heart College is a Kindergarten to Year 10 Co-educational Catholic College based on the charism of the Sisters of St Joseph located in the central Hobart suburb of New Town.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our community in an ongoing capacity.

Sacred Heart College is committed to supporting the rights of children and young people and providing a safe and supportive environment for them. The successful candidate will require satisfactory child safety checks and registrations.

To be eligible applicants require:

• Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania);
• Certificate III in Education Support and/or equivalent experience;
• A willingness to work in a team environment; and
• A demonstrated genuine commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
