About You
 

As part of the Learning Support Team you will assist the classroom teacher in providing a quality Catholic education focused on maximising student outcomes, through a holistic, student centred curriculum.
 

To excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
 

  • an understanding of the diverse needs of students who require individual and classroom support
  • ability to work collaboratively with teachers as a team member
  • excellent communication skills
  • the skills of being organised, supportive and resourceful
  • ability to collect data and evidence to support NCCD requirements, along with an understanding of relevant legislation (Disability Discrimination Act & Disability Standards for Education)
  • ability to maintain school-based data and records while upholding confidentiality
  • support the positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for students.

You will have attained:

  • a Certificate III or IV in Educational Support from TAFE NSW or equivalent post-secondary qualification.
