Your New Role

As a Classroom Teacher, you’ll inspire young minds, foster a positive learning environment, and develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. You’ll also provide individual attention to students, addressing their unique needs, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes. By building strong relationships with parents and guardians, you’ll support student success and make a lasting impact on their lives.

Selection Criteria

  • An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education
  • Demonstrated expertise as a PDHPE classroom practitioner
  • Appropriate qualifications
  • A demonstrated capacity to align practice with a whole-school Positive Behaviour for Learning model of student support
  • An appropriate mix of pedagogical, content and technological knowledge
  • An informed understanding of inclusive, learner-centred pedagogy
  • An ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to staff professional culture
  • Willingness to participate in staff professional development in partnership with the College
  • Willingness to contribute to the KLA team in their understanding of relevant curriculum and its application to the College.
  • Willingness to take on co-curricular activities.
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • NSW NESA Accreditation
