Santa Sabina College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to support and join our highly successful Sports Department.

We offer co-education on our P-4 Del Monte Campus and girls only on our 5-12 Santa Sabina Campus. Our outdoor education campus, Tallong, is located on 97 hectares in the Southern Highlands. Our Early Education Centre (Mary Bailey House) and Out of School Hours (OOSH) services are located in the grounds of the Primary (Del Monte) Campus.

Position: Permanent Part-Time (3 days a week, 7.6 hours a day, Term Time only)

Commencement date: Immediate start or by negotiation

The Sports Administrator (P-6 - Primary) is responsible for the coordination, development and delivery of a wide range of co-curricular sports programs and assisting in the overall responsibility of convening specific sports for students across the Primary years (P-6). This position reports to the Director of Sport and Co-Curricular Activities as the College Principal’s delegate and works closely with other team members in growing student participation and improvement of performance in sport at the College. The Sports Administrator (P-6 - Primary) will join our highly successful Sports Department.

The successful candidate will:

  • support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College
  • demonstrate outstanding leadership skills including the ability to mentor, guide and advise staff and students
  • be a strategic and collaborative practitioner who can work with a range of teams
  • keep accurate records of incidents and injuries and report to the Director of Sport and Co-curricular Activities
  • have a sound knowledge of sports coordination and administration, particularly for the Primary years
  • support the development, implementation and evaluation of sport policies and programs
  • demonstrate a commitment to Saturday throughout the year (as one of the 3 working days expected in this role)

This position will be required to work three days per week with the expectation of weekend sport attendance.
