• Have demonstrated commitment to the ethos of the Catholic education system and church.
• Possess and have demonstrated high level interpersonal skills with the ability to foster strong relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Have a demonstrated commitment to continual improvement as a learner with a willingness to engage in a process of ongoing and constructive self and peer critical reflection.
• Have demonstrated a commitment to creating a learning environment that promotes excellence. Experience/knowledge of play based learning pedagogy will be an advantage.
• Have experience in the effective use of information technologies as a tool for learning. Specific experience in the use of the Google Drive, Seesaw and the Apple platform will be an advantage.
• Have demonstrated understanding of catering for the uniqueness and diversity of students as children, created in the image of God.
• Have registration with the VIT and either an accreditation or commitment to gain accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School.
