Your New Role

In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of our food service, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Your duties will include:

  • Food Preparation & Service – Assist in making sandwiches, preparing hot meals and salads and serving food and drinks.
  • Supervision of volunteer helpers and allocating tasks.
  • Customer Service – Process orders, serve customers politely and handle complaints professionally.
  • Cash Handling – Operate tills, take payments, and give correct change.
  • Cleaning & Hygiene – Maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas and equipment.
  • Stock Management – Restock food, drinks, and supplies as needed.
  • Health & Safety Compliance – Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards.

Essential Criteria

  • Past experience in hospitality is preferred.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge (food handlers certification preferred )
  • Customer service skills
  • Attention to detail for cleanliness and food safety
  • Ability to handle cash and balance till at the end of shift
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Successful Candidate to undertake a National Criminal History Check
  • Successful Candidate to undertake a Functional Assessment
