Contract Type: Permanent/Ongoing Position Part Time (0.80 FTE)

We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide counselling and personal support for Middle School students in Years 7-9 who are experiencing some form of need, personal difficulty or crisis in accordance with the School's Christian context and strategic intent to build student character and wellbeing. This is a permanent part time position commencing Term 2, 28 April, 2025.

What you will require?

  • Current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Cognitive Behavioural and Solution Focused Therapies.
  • Proficient in the use of psychometric tools
  • Extensive experience in interviewing techniques and the ability to interpret results.
  • Ability to effectively respond to students needs through the provision of short-term counselling.
  • Experience in identification/diagnosis of disorders and appropriate treatment
