Specific Criteria

  • Understanding of WHS regulations related to workshop environments, hazardous material handling and equipment maintenance
  • Familiarity with tools, machinery, and materials relevant to Industrial Technology, Design and Technology, Textiles and Engineering Studies
  • Knowledge of correct procedures for handling and storing adhesives, chemicals and other hazardous substances
  • Awareness of digital fabrication techniques, including laser cutting, 3D printing and CAD software applications
  • Experience working in a workshop, school, or similar environment where hands-on practical activities are conducted
  • Experience in handling and maintaining woodworking, metalworking, and other TAS-related machinery
  • Previous involvement in assisting or supervising students in a practical learning environment is desirable
  • Experience with stock management, inventory tracking, and ordering supplies
  • A current Working with Children Check.
