Matrix Education is now hiring Chemistry Teachers to teach in the upcoming April school holidays at Castle Hill and Parramatta.

This role is ideal for a current NESA accredited Teacher or a postgraduate student (MTeach, MD or PhDc) seeking an ongoing casual teaching position which offers stability.

Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are provided for you.

This role has the opportunity to continue as regular weekly casual hours in the term or ongoing holiday teaching work in subsequent terms.

What you'll do...

• Teaching year 11 Chemistry (Module 2: Introduction to Quantitative Chemistry), daily from 14 April - 17 April and
• Teaching year 11 Chemistry (Module 3: Reactive Chemistry), daily from 22 April - 24 April and April 26 OR
• Teaching year 12 Chemistry (Module 7: Organic Chemistry), daily from 13 April - 26 April,
• Ongoing monitoring of student’s academic progress through marking of short daily quizzes.

What you'll need...

• Possess a genuine passion for teaching,
• Previous experience teaching Chemistry in a classroom setting,
• Have extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 6 Chemistry
