Your New Role

  • Attend available professional development opportunities
  • Undertake duties as negotiated with the Principal
  • Organise quotes for capital expenditure such as carpets, painting, equipment.
  • Business understanding e.g purchasing, invoicing, receipting
  • To monitor student non-attendance via correspondence to parents.
  • To maintain staff and school online calendars
  • To type correspondence and reports as directed by the Principal
  • Monitor attendance and share relevant information with the principal.
  • Assist with the monitoring of compliance requirements
  • The use of technology for information sharing, school promotion, maintenance of the school website and the creation of the school newsletter.
  • Support the well-being and life of the school as may be required.

Essential Criteria

  • A commitment to the Catholic life and traditions of the school community
  • Highly developed communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a range of people and students
  • A deep knowledge of technology and the ability to use it for communication and sharing of information
  • A range of skills and strategies that enable an organised and efficient workplace
  • An advanced level of word processing and other administrative skills
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Successful Candidate to undertake a National Criminal History Check

Desirable Criteria

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in finance/accounting
  • Certificate 3 in Accounting/Business or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
