The school runs a daily Indigenous Language and Culture program [ILC] that has 4 key strands: Vocabulary, Literacy, Cultural Knowledge and Ceremonies. During terms 2 and 3 [the cooler periods] the students, cultural knowledge holders and all school staff participate in six 3 day camps over the 20 weeks. The camps are held every 3 weeks starting week 2 in terms 2 and 3.

Selection Criteria:

Ability to plan and deliver teaching and learning programs to meet the needs and learning styles of students and create a challenging learning environment that applies school based culturally appropriate behaviour management strategies.
