St Joseph's Catholic College is currently seeking an experienced & creative School Services Officer - Communications. This is a temporary, part-time opportunity working 21 hours a week for the duration of the 2025 school year.

<p><strong>St Joseph's Catholic College, East Gosford</strong> is currently seeking a creative and experienced <strong>Senior Services Officer - Communications</strong>. This is a<strong> temporary, part-time (21 hours per week) </strong>opportunity for an immediate start and to conclude at the end of the school year.&nbsp;</p> <p>The working days for this position is <strong>Monday, Tuesday &amp; Friday.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p><strong>Marketing</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Promote a positive view of the school in the broader community including distributing media releases, news stories etc</li> <li>Maintain and optimise social media platforms and the school website as well as managing the school's brand &amp; identity in accordance with brand guidelines&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure all enrolment enquiries are responded to in a positive and timely manner</li> </ul> <p><strong>Communications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordinate social media platforms and all communications to students and families ensuring that messaging is consistent and in line with college branding</li> <li>Ensure the college website is updated regularly and that all information provided is current</li> <li>Prepare college yearbook &amp; send college newsletters</li> <li>Ensure Compass Newsfeed is updated daily so that all stakeholders are made aware of upcoming events within the college</li> </ul> <p><strong>Event Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan and organise college events including Open Afternoon, college events and assemblies, parent information evenings and support Senior Leadership with community events&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure all marketing and community events are shared via social media and in college communications</li> </ul> <p><strong>School Services Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide administrative support to teaching staff and college leadership&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain the student attendance system recording absence notes, late arrivals and early leavers, and sick bay entries.</li> <li>Coordinate the student self-serve sign in/sign process via the Compass kiosk &amp; assist with receipting EFTPOS transactions as needed&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Specific Criteria:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be a highly effective &amp; skilled administrator with experience in a busy dynamic office environment</li> <li>Solid experience in Marketing/Communications is highly regarded&nbsp;</li> <li>Possess a high level interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, and have the ability to develop positive relationships with staff, student, parents/carers and community members</li> <li>Be familiar with various software packages which may include but not limited to Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Compass</li> <li>Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Be task focused with attention to detail and flexibility regarding duties</li> <li>Ability work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community</li> <li>Certificate in Marketing and/or Business Administration (desirable)&nbsp;</li> <li>Hold a valid Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Us:</strong></p> <p>We are Catholic Schools Broken Bay, a vibrant and enriching learning environment that spans the Central Coast, Sydney's Northern Beaches and the North Shore.
