Are you passionate about supporting education and creating a well-organised and safe learning environment? Salesian College is seeking a Food Technology Assistant to support our Food Technology Department in delivering engaging and practical learning experiences for students.

About the Role

As a Food Technology Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Food Technology Department by:
Assisting with the preparation of materials and ingredients for practical lessons
Managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen and classroom environment
Supporting teachers in setting up and packing away lesson materials
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

About You

We are looking for someone who:
✔ Has food handling qualifications
✔ Has experience in Food Studies or a related industry
✔ Holds a current Working with Children Clearance Card or Current VIT Registration
✔ Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
✔ Can work effectively in a dynamic educational environment
✔ Enjoys working as part of a team and supporting students and teachers
