Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Senior Leaders for the position of Inclusion Lead Teacher Appointment (POL 3).

We have two leave replacement positions both based at the St. Paul's Campus in Altona North. One role extends through the remainder of the 2025 school year, while the other is for Term 2.

Emmanuel College is vastly increasing in student numbers.  We are a two campus College, our St Paul’s single sex boys Campus located in Altona North and our co-educational campus located in Point Cook.  We are seeking suitably qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic candidates to join our team. 

Emmanuel College is an integral part of the faith community of Laverton.  Emmanuel College is governed under the authority of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Limited (MACS) ABN 18643442371. MACS is the employer of employees at Emmanuel College.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:  

  • A commitment to Catholic, Marianist education.

  • Proven success as a teacher.  
  • A sound grasp of current educational thought and practice.  
  • Demonstrated competence in the use of ICT in an educational setting.  
  • Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills.  
  • A sound understanding of the relevant compliance regulations.  
  • An ability to work collaboratively with fellow teachers and support staff.  

Skills/Experience required:

  • Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • A strong commitment to Catholic education.
  • An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • An ability to create an engaging, educational, and challenging learning environment that caters for the needs of all students.
  • An eagerness to learn.
  • An enthusiasm to implement a differentiated curriculum and use modern technology to support student learning.

 Special Requirements:

  • Emmanuel College promotes the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children; therefore, the successful applicant must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children.
  • The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred.
