About Our School

Eileen O'Connor College Lewisham is a Catholic K-12 school educating children with a mild and moderate intellectual disability. Our college is named after Eileen O'Connor, the co-founder of Our Lady's Nurses for the Poor, who's ministry of healthcare, advocacy and friendship to the poor and disadvantaged was even more remarkable because of her own disability. About You

As part of the Learning Support Team you will assist the classroom teacher in providing a quality Catholic education focused on maximising student outcomes, through a holistic, student centred curriculum.

To excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

• an understanding of the needs of the diverse needs of students who require individual toileting, feeding and classroom support
• ability to work collaboratively with teachers as a team member
• excellent communication skills
• ability to be organised, supportive and resourceful
• a willingness to support the positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for students.

You will have attained:

• a Certificate III or IV in Educational Support from TAFE NSW or equivalent post-secondary qualification.
