The College is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Learning Enrichment specialist to support the learning and academic needs of students across Years 7-12.
<p><i>Established in 1879, St Aloysius' College is a Catholic, Jesuit day school for boys from Year 3 to Year 12. Situated in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it has an enrolment of over 1300 students.</i></p>

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p><strong>Diverse Learning Teacher – Senior School</strong></p>
<p>St Aloysius' College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Diverse Learning Teacher (Senior School) on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Dean of Academic Services, this ongoing role will be responsible for identifying and supporting students across Years 7-12, with diverse learning needs to achieve their full potential.</p>
<p>A passionate educator, dedicated to lifelong learning, the successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment conducive to meeting the academic requirements of students with diverse learning needs, through the development and implementation of targeted and effective pedagogical strategies. </p>
<p>As a Diverse Learning specialist, you will work in conjunction with parents and academic leaders and demonstrate a deep commitment to the wellbeing and growth of each student to achieve their personal best, whilst promoting independence and confidence.</p>

<p><strong>Your Application</strong></p>
<p>To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition;</li>
<li>Possess appropriate secondary teaching qualifications, preferably in the areas of English, Mathematics or Science;</li>
<li>Possess relevant qualifications in diverse learning with experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of programs to support students with diverse educational needs;</li>
<li>Experience with team teaching and working collaboratively with class teachers to implement strategies and adjustments to support diverse learning needs;</li>
<li>Informed of current research in teaching students with diverse needs;</li>
<li>Knowledge of administration requirements pertaining to National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) and NESA Disability Provisions;</li>
<li>Possess highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students, and staff;</li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislative requirements, particularly those related to Child Protection/Safeguarding Children, WHS and risk management;</li>
<li>Significant competency in the use of ICT and its integration into the curriculum;</li>
<li>High level of written and verbal communication skills;</li>
<li>
<p>Possess a valid Working with Children Check.</p>
