Terms and conditions of employment

Casual Teachers are paid a daily rate as per the Independent Schools NSW (Teachers) CMEA.

Qualifications

Appropriate tertiary qualifications recognised by the NSW Institute of Teachers for eligibility to teach in New South Wales.

Selection Criteria (these must be addressed in your application)

The successful applicant will have:

• An appropriate qualification which is recognised by the NSW Institute of Teachers and current registration with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
• A current Working with Children Check registered number.
• Experience in teaching the NSW Australian Curriculum in a primary school and understanding of regulations and legislation relevant to teaching primary students in NSW.
• Experience working as a team member in a collegiate teaching environment.
• Experience in teaching with project-based learning and sustainability initiatives would be an advantage.
• A willingness to uphold Korowal School’s values and ethos.
