We are seeking applications from motivated, highly experienced, and dedicated professionals for the 12-month leave replacement position of&nbsp;<strong>Learning Support Coordinator </strong>with the potential for an ongoing teaching position.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul> <li>Liaise with the Learning Leader (EAL) in order to support students</li> <li>Provide leadership and support to the Learning Support Officers who assist students with special needs</li> <li>Work with members of teaching staff to make learning adjustments and / or modifications for students as required.</li> <li>Assist in the collection and recording of data within the NCCD process</li> <li>Provide resources and strategies to teachers to assist in their planning for students with special needs, including the development of Personalised Learning Plans</li> <li>Offer appropriate curriculum programs to suit the learning styles of students with special needs.</li> <li>Support teachers with the provision of accurate information and effective strategies to address students with individual needs</li> <li>Work in association with the Curriculum Leaders, Learning Leaders, year level leaders and wellbeing team in the provision of special programs and/or strategies&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul> <li>Committed to the values and ethos of Catholic education</li> <li>Successful teaching experience</li> <li>Demonstrated the capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice</li> <li>Details of recent post graduate study and/or immediate intentions for future study</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to foster and develop appropriate relationships with the staff, students, parents and the wider community</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with teams within the school</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support the educative programs of the school.</li> <li>highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels and from varying backgrounds</li> <li>sound organisational and administrative skills</li> <li>ability to work collaboratively and facilitate dynamic teamwork</li> <li>proven capacity to work independently and effectively in the face of changing priorities, deadlines and pressure</li> <li>commitment to ongoing professional learning</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Position Classification:</strong></p><ul> <li>Position: Learning Support Coordinator - POL 2</li> <li>Remuneration: As per VCEMEA</li> <li>Tenure: May 2025 (12 month) - With the potential for an ongoing teaching position</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>If you would be a great fit, we encourage you to apply.
