Your New Role

As a Classroom Teacher, you’ll inspire young minds, foster a positive learning environment, and develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. You’ll also provide individual attention to students, addressing their unique needs, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes. By building strong relationships with parents and guardians, you’ll support student success and make a lasting impact on their lives.

Essential Criteria

  • An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • An ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to staff professional culture
  • Adaptable and flexible in work situations
  • Ability to assist students with additional needs such as learning, medical or regulation
  • Ability to undertake specific tasks with small groups of children or individual learners
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Wagga Wagga Diocese and a commitment to the Catholic Faith (or working towards)
  • An effective classroom practitioner with a sound knowledge of the curriculum and contemporary pedagogy
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a positive, student focused team
  • Current First Aid certificate and anaphylaxis training
  • Current NSW Working With Children
