Thomas Hassall Anglican College is a vibrant P-12 independent College located with close access to the M5 and M7 in the growing southwest of Sydney. The College is seeking a Senior School HSIE teacher to start in Term 1 or 2 2025. The successful applicant will be appropriately qualified and ready to work within a professional and cohesive team.

Key Selection Criteria

the successful applicant for the above position must be able to provide evidence to support the following criteria:

• Strong personal Christian faith and be a regular and practising member of a Bible-based Christian Church
• Evidence of innovative classroom practices
• A high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the integration of technology in the delivery of learning
• Demonstrate an understanding of how students learn and effective classroom teaching strategies and the capacity to work with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, critical analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritise and work as part of a team

Qualifications

• Appropriate teaching qualifications & accreditation in NSW
• Ability to teach Stage 6 History is preferred
