The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring individual to join our team as our Head of Coaching/1st VIII Coach. This dual role will suit someone who is naturally driven and ready to undertake a challenging and rewarding opportunity, leading high-performing teams.

This position is classified as 0.75 FTE with an option to convert to full time hours if other skills can be utilised by the college (i.e. Teaching, Boat repairs, Sports Admin).

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive rowing program that supports the development of athletes of all levels
  • Leading and mentoring a team of coaches
  • Setting high, although realistic targets for the crew each year at both State and National level
  • Representing the school at local, regional, and national events

About You:

You are a highly motivated and results-oriented individual, with a strong desire to make a difference. With a proven track record of success in developing and leading high-performing teams, you are known for your excellent communication skills and the ability to also bring enjoyment to the sport.

You understand the importance building and maintaining external relationships such as APS, Rowing Victoria, Rowing Clubs, Overseas Colleges etc
