We are currently seeking applications from dynamic Christian leaders for the role of Academic Head, a full-time role commencing Term 2, 2025. This is an Executive position, reporting to the Principal.

The Academic Head is the leader of learning across the whole School and plays a vital role in leading teams of teachers to ensure the school’s vision, mission, purpose, statement of faith and learning framework is a tangible reality in the life of the school. The Academic Head is responsible for fostering a positive learning culture that is academically rigorous, authentically Christian and encompasses a holistic view of student well-being and learning.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Lead the development of innovative teaching and learning and teaching practice, utilising comprehensive knowledge of curriculum, assessment, pedagogy and reporting requirements.
• Lead individual and group engagement with structured professional development, including developing workshops, presentations and staff mentoring as required.
• Able to oversee and guide teacher accreditation processes
• Responsible for ensuring quality curriculum that engages learners and is aligned with school strategy and NESA requirements.
• A committed Christian, actively involved in a church community with a clear understanding of reformed evangelical theology;
• An outstanding teacher and leader able to inspire and grow students and staff;
• Able to demonstrate the capacity to identify and manage change;
• Committed to working collaboratively with the Senior Executive team to facilitate and foster a positive learning climate for staff and students across the whole School;
• Able to establish positive relationships with parents and carers of the School and work with them for the benefit of student learning.
