The College is seeking to employ a highly motivated, innovative Science Teacher, with a passion for Physics, who is appropriately qualified and is keen to work in a committed and professional team. This is a full-time permanent position, commencing in Term 1, 2025.

Key Selection Criteria

the successful applicant for the above position must be able to provide evidence to support the following criteria:

  • Strong personal Christian faith or willing to accept the College ethos and values
  • Evidence of innovative classroom practices
  • A high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the integration of technology in the delivery of learning
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how students learn and effective classroom teaching strategies and the capacity to work with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, critical analysis and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Appropriate teaching qualifications & accreditation in NSW (NESA)
  • An understanding of the new Science Syllabus Stage 4-5 and expertise in writing programs for it.
  • Able to teach the Stage 6 Physics Syllabus confidently.
  • Willingness to teach Stage 4 Technology Mandatory.

  • Valid NSW Working with Children details (WWCC)
  • NESA eTAMS Summary & Accreditation.
