The Primary French School Teacher applicant must be able to teach the French language to Primary students, Years K-6, with the potential to cover Secondary French classes.
The applicant should also have a proven history as a lifelong learner and possess a genuine desire for self-improvement, as well as being passionate about student wellbeing.

Beautiful National Parks including Towarri, Burning Mountain Reserve, and Barrington Tops provide abundant wildlife, while Lake Glenbawn hosts superb freshwater fishing and water sport opportunities. <br><br><strong>Core Job Role Accountabilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and deliver French lessons in K-6 that align with the NSW K-10 Modern Languages Syllabus</li>
<li>Use differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs and styles</li>
<li>Plan, prepare and evaluate lesson materials that are engaging, innovative and aligned with curriculum outcomes</li>
<li>Regularly assess and monitor students’ language progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with other specialist teachers, classroom teachers, support staff and the Head of Primary, Deputy Principal – Teaching & Learning to ensure consistency and quality in language teaching</li>
<li>Organise and participate in French-related cultural activities, excursions, holiday tours, incursions and language competitions</li>
<li>Stay up to date with developments in French language education, teaching methodologies, and curriculum requirements</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Degree in Education or a related field with a focus on French or Languages</li>
<li>NESA accreditation to teach in NSW schools</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience teaching French to primary-aged students, with a strong understanding of the NSW Languages Syllabus</li>
<li>A valid NSW Working with Children Check.</li>
<li>Commitment to the education and wellbeing of young people.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience teaching within the NSW system or equivalent</li>
<li>Familiarity with innovative language teaching practices and integrating ICT in language learning</li>
<li>A passion for French culture and the ability to inspire students to develop a global mindset</li>
</ul>
