About the Role

The College seeks an enthusiastic Religious Education teacher whose classroom practice shows a commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will join a professional team in a collegial environment. This is a temporary part-time (0.8FTE) position for Terms 3 and 4 2025. Experience teaching Studies of Religion is essential.

Selection Criteria:

  • Understanding and support of the values of a Catholic school.
  • Ability to teach Religious Education and Studies of Religion.
  • Capacity to implement units of work across a range of areas within the syllabus.
  • Evidence of exemplary classroom practice.
  • Understanding of recent developments in curriculum, assessment and reporting.
  • Ability to cater for diverse learning needs through differentiated curriculum and instruction.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues and parents.

A current Working With Children Check number is required.
