At Catherine McAuley College we recognise that learning to play a musical instrument is a valuable activity in any student’s development. As such, we are committed to providing a high-quality instrumental music education, accessible to all families. As an Instrumental Music Tutor (IMT), you will be integral to building our music program and increase the musical opportunities we can offer students. We are seeking IMTs who can provide tuition in piano, woodwind, voice and brass instruments.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be available from 0.2 to 1.0 FTE (Full Time Equivalent) depending on expertise
• Have a current Working with Children check (WWC)
• Obtain public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance.
• Possess relevant music qualifications or background experience in music performance and/or tuition.
• Be enthusiastic and passionate about your craft and inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential.
• Be committed to child safety.
• Effectively engage and work as part of a team with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes.
