Student Wellbeing Leader P-6 POL2 + Junior Classroom Teacher

Our holistic education centres on the spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional and social development of each of our students.</i></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><ul><li>Position of Leadership POL 2</li><li>Full Time</li><li>Student Wellbeing Leader P-6 (12 periods/cycle), Wellness Program (3periods/cycle) + some classroom teaching</li><li>Fixed Term commencing Term 2, 2025 or earlier by negotiation to the end of the 2026 School year</li><li>This role provides the opportunity to develop, implement and lead wellbeing programs, create a supporting and inclusive environment where students feel safe, valued, and empowered, working closely with teachers, parents, and support teams to ensure a holistic approach to student wellbeing.</li><li>A School tour for prospective candidates is offered. Please contact Kim Rowland, Human Resources Manager 9835 2700 to book a suitable time.</li><li>For the right candidate, this role may also include responsibilities as Numeracy Leader P-6 POL1, allowing you to make a broader impact by fostering both academic success and student wellbeing across the Junior School. Refer to our SEEK ad.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>A four-year teaching qualification or equivalent and eligibility for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration with education</li><li>Hold a Post Graduate degree in educational management / leadership / student wellbeing / administration or relevant area<br />or working towards this would be desirable</li><li>Experience providing a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to reach their full potential</li><li>Demonstrated capacity to foster independence, resilience and responsibility in students</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead teams in designing and implementing appropriate programs and curriculum</li></ul><p><strong>What Sacré Cœur Offers</strong></p><p>Be part of a supportive School community that values innovation, collaboration, and lifelong learning.
