<p dir="ltr"><strong>About Our School</strong></p>
<p dir="ltr">Marist Catholic College North Shore (MCCNS), is a coeducational K-12 Catholic Secondary School in the Archdiocese of Sydney, imbuing the faith life, values, work ethic and pragmatism of St. Marcellin Champagnat.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Continued demand for enrolment into our secondary (La Valla) campus for 2025 and beyond has generated additional opportunities for immediate employment. In imagining MCCNS over the next five years, we seek people to join and embrace our community, one which is eager to display the strong traditional and reliable attributes and tenets in education, as well as embracing exciting facilitation and learning in an open and creative curriculum with modern pedagogical delivery. This compliments a deliberate focus of individual achievement based upon student centred learning, scholastic facilitation, school wellbeing, faith development and learning programs.</p>
<p dir="ltr">We seek expressions of interest from educators wishing to join our dynamic K-12 teaching staff in 2025. The opportunities for growth for our school have continued with a significant need to seek recruitment beyond those opportunities previously advertised. These positions are FTE 1.0 in 2025.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>TAS teacher with experience in Industrial Technology Timber, Design and Technology and/or VET Construction</strong></li>
<li><strong>HSIE teacher with specialisations in Business Studies and/or Legal Studies</strong></li>
<li><strong>An ability to teach Religious Education is desirable but not essential.</strong></li>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p dir="ltr">As <strong>Teachers of TAS (Industrial Technology Timber, Design and Technology and/or VET Construction) and HSIE (specialisation in Business Studies and/or Legal Studies)</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.</p>
<p dir="ltr">To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p>
<ul>
<li>create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students</li>
<li>demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach <strong>TAS (Industrial Technology Timber, Design and Technology and/or VET Construction) </strong>or <strong>HSIE (specialisation in Business Studies and/or Legal Studies)</strong>. The ability to teach <strong>Religious Education</strong> is advantageous</li>
<li>utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress</li>
<li>employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li>
<li>support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li>
<li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being</li>
<li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.</li>
</ul>
<p dir="ltr">You will have attained:</p>
<ul>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li>
<li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li>
<li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per<a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</span></a>.</li>
