ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity has arisen at Knox Grammar Wahroonga Preparatory School for a permanent full-time position for an experienced teacher to commence in Term 2, 2025.

The ideal candidate will have the appropriate primary teaching qualifications and be able to demonstrate:

• A passion for teaching and a genuine interest in the development of children.
• A variety of effective teaching strategies that engage students on their path to achieving specific learning outcomes.
• Effective management strategies for students of differing abilities and levels of engagement.
• The desire to be a team-player in a collegial department with high expectations of its members and of its students.

As at February 2024, the salary for a Band 1 graduate teacher rose from $87,191 to $96,400 (11.31% above the AIS MEA) and the salary for the top of Scale Knox teacher has risen from $128,607 to $137,665 (12.19% above the AIS MEA).
