Seeking a hands-on Wellbeing Worker to support students and families in a school-based role. 7 weeks leave, full-time, community-focused, and flexible.

About the Role

Doxa School Bendigo is seeking an experienced and compassionate Wellbeing Worker to provide counselling support, case management, advocacy, and community engagement for students and their families. You will work holistically, considering each student in their whole person growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide counselling and case management for students.
  • Protect students from harm and abuse through intervention and safety planning.
  • Develop and implement plans and facilitate referrals to external services.
  • Work collaboratively with the Wellbeing Team to support student needs.
  • Align work with tiered models of intervention.
  • Address structural and systemic issues that impact student wellbeing.

About you:

We welcome applications from:

  • Qualified Social Workers.
  • Youth Workers who have relevant experience and are working towards a Social Work qualification.
  • Other relevant qualification (with extensive experience and appropriate registration)
