Commencing: Monday 28 April 2025 (Term 2)

FTE: 0.92 (7:45 am - 4:15 pm) Mon -Fri (42 weeks per year)

Salary: 82,000-85,000

ABOUT THE ROLE

Cedar College is seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support our Leadership Team. This multifaceted role requires excellent administrative skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. As the key administrator to the leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the College by managing schedules, coordinating key events, and facilitating effective communication between leadership, staff, and the wider school community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a committed Christian who is active in church to join our vibrant Christian community. It is expected that applicants will:

  • Attend all leadership meetings, take accurate minutes and follow up on recorded action points
  • Manage calendars for leadership, scheduling regular and ad hoc meetings.
  • Oversee leave administration, ensuring accurate records.
  • Assist leadership in managing staff rosters, and professional development days.
  • Act as the key communication liaison on behalf of the Principal to staff and the broader College community.
  • Assist in the coordination of Temporary Relief Teachers (TRT).

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Previous experience in an Executive Assistant role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Proven administrative experience with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude with strong attention to detail.
  • High-level ICT proficiency and confidence with various digital tools and platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Current Responding to Risk Harm and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) Certificate in an education setting.
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).

DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES

  • Experience in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications in Business Administration or a related field.
