Your organisational expertise will be key in supporting our leadership team. </p><p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p><p>Cedar College is seeking a highly organised and proactive <strong>Executive Assistant</strong> to support our Leadership Team. This multifaceted role requires excellent administrative skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. As the key administrator to the leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the College by managing schedules, coordinating key events, and facilitating effective communication between leadership, staff, and the wider school community.</p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p><strong>We are looking for a committed Christian who is active in church to join our vibrant Christian community. It is expected that applicants will:</strong></p><ul><li>Attend all leadership meetings, take accurate minutes and follow up on recorded action points </li><li>Manage calendars for leadership, scheduling regular and ad hoc meetings.</li><li>Oversee leave administration, ensuring accurate records.</li><li>Assist leadership in managing staff rosters, and professional development days.</li><li>Act as the key communication liaison on behalf of the Principal to staff and the broader College community.</li><li>Assist in the coordination of Temporary Relief Teachers (TRT).</li></ul><p><strong>ESSENTIAL CRITERIA</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in an Executive Assistant role, preferably within an educational setting.</li><li>Proven administrative experience with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>A proactive, “can-do” attitude with strong attention to detail.</li><li>High-level ICT proficiency and confidence with various digital tools and platforms.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.</li><li>Current Responding to Risk Harm and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) Certificate in an education setting.</li><li>Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).</li></ul><p><strong>DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in an educational setting is highly desirable.</li><li>Qualifications in Business Administration or a related field.</li></ul><p><strong>PERSONAL QUALITIES</strong></p><ul><li>A vibrant, growing relationship with God and active involvement in a local church.</li><li>Approachable, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional support.</li><li>Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within various teams.</li><li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks while remaining adaptable to changing priorities.</li></ul><p><strong>Applications close:</strong> 4:00 pm, Friday 14 February 2025</p><p><strong>Please note:</strong> Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and the position may be filled prior to the closing date if a suitable candidate is identified.</p>
