Base salary ranges from $71,578 to $78,175. Salary calculated on averaged conditions (generally only required to work during school term time)</li> <li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li> <li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li> <li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li> <li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li> <li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong><br /> <br />As a School Support Officer (Level 4), you will be an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate <strong>St Gertrude's Catholic Primary School Smithfield's</strong> values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community.<br /> <br /><strong>Essential Selection Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>a commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church</li> <li>experience in administration and general office processes and procedures</li> <li>proficiency with Compass, MS Office and Google suite of applications or the ability to learn new systems</li> <li>ability to process data in a variety of forms and produce reports</li> <li>effective organisational skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail</li> <li>ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable Selection Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>familiarity with the Compass systems</li> <li>Certificate II in Office Procedures or related study.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The following general capabilities are applicable to the role</strong></p> <ul> <li>well-developed interpersonal skills</li> <li>excellent written and oral communication skills</li> <li>ability to relate effectively with parents/carers, staff and students</li> <li>ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment</li> <li>customer service orientation</li> <li>demonstrated positive attitude to innovation and change.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience and Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>current Senior First Aid Certificate.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Application Process</strong><br /> <br />Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
