We are part of Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) which operates 56 Catholic Systemic Schools and nine Early Learning Centres in the ACT and NSW.

About the Role 

This role entails collaborating closely with the Principal and the Leadership Team to provide both educational and spiritual leadership within the school community. A key responsibility is fostering the development of a Christ-centred faith environment, ensuring that Catholic perspectives and values are meaningfully integrated across all areas of the curriculum, promoting a holistic approach to education that aligns with the school’s faith-based mission.

As a senior leadership position, the role of Religious Education carries significant influence and is a vital component of the school’s leadership team. It involves strategic planning, guiding staff in implementing faith-inspired pedagogical practices, and actively nurturing the spiritual and moral growth of both students and staff. This leadership role is integral to shaping the school as a vibrant, faith-filled learning community that upholds and celebrates Catholic traditions and values.

Qualifications  

  • Must be a qualified Teacher with a minimum of five years’ experience.
  • Must have completed, be due to complete or a willingness to complete Accreditation D and E, according to the Accreditation to work, teach and lead in a Catholic School Policy.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
