Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students, with three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs, Palmerston and Leanyer.   

Applications are sought for a suitably qualified and experienced teacher to join the Middle/Senior teaching team at Howard Springs in the leadership role of Learning Area Coordinator - Health and Physical Education (HPE).

Learning Area Coordinator is a key leadership role in ensuring quality academic and wellbeing outcomes to students across the Middle and Senior years.

It is expected that the Learning Area Coordinator of HPE, will have a passion for the development of the HPE curriculum and in conjunction with the Sports Coordinator develop best practice in the teaching and learning of HPE and sport across the College.

The ideal candidate should have experience teaching Middle and Senior school HPE and a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of HPE learning and curriculum.
