St Christopher's is seeking a dynamic and skilled English Leader with a passion for working alongside classroom teachers to improve Literacy outcomes for all students. The English Leader is an integral member of the Leadership Team and Wellbeing Team and has a key role in the implementation of the school’s Learning and Teaching and Wellbeing policies and procedures.

<p>St Christopher’s Primary School is seeking an English Leader to assist in our ongoing pursuit of excellence and “not letting any student slip through the cracks”.</p><p>The position will be 0.8 beginning as soon as possible but not later than April 22, 2025. The days will be Monday to Thursday and will be a POL 3.</p><p>This position is best suited to a leader who is passionate, organised and motivated, with a desire to make a difference. The right candidate will work well independently and collaboratively in teams.</p><p>The successful candidate will possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, prioritisation and organisational skills including the ability to make decisions and meet deadlines.</p><p><strong>Skills and Proven Work Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>A professional working knowledge of the MACS Vision for Instruction and the English curriculum</li><li>The ability to dialogue with staff in a collegial manner to achieve improved learning outcomes for students </li><li>The ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders such as parents and MACS to achieve the best outcomes for students </li><li> Well-developed interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to work and communicate within a team environment</li><li> Proven organisational skills, flexibility and a capacity to show initiative in working independently and within a team.</li></ul><p>St Christopher’s is an inclusive school that values diversity and celebrates differences amongst students.
