The community started as a Catholic Mission in the early 1950s. The local Arrernte language is the first, most frequently used language. The school also features a strong English as an additional language/dialect (EALD) approach. There are about 600 people in the community and a school enrolment of approximately 130 students from Pre-School to year 12. </p><p><strong>The Position:</strong></p><p>The Assistant Principal Religious Education (APRE) or Religious Education Coordinator (REC) shares with the Principal the responsibility for spiritual and theological leadership and the development of faith formation while ensuring the Catholic perspective is integrated across the school.
