Queenstown has a rich mining history and holds the reputation for once being the world’s richest mining town. It is located on the rugged West Coast of Tasmania and is surrounded by a barren moonscape, fast flowing rivers, and sits on the edge of Tasmania’s Wilderness Area.</p><p>St Joseph’s Catholic School is a warm and friendly community, where staff, students and parents practice and promote hospitality and participate in the life of the school and parish.&nbsp; We continue our commitment to offering quality teaching and learning that draws on practice that is data informed, evidence based and aligned with the Science of Learning, Australian Curriculum and Good News for Living.</p><p><strong>Teacher: 1.0 FTE</strong><br><strong>Ongoing</strong><br><strong>Commencing ASAP</strong></p><p>The school is seeking applications from suitably qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teachers who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.</p><p>&nbsp;Applicants will:</p><ul><li>Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.</li><li>Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching</li><li>Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.</li><li>Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.</li><li>Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.</li></ul><p>Catholic Education Tasmania and St Joseph's Catholic school Queenstown are committed to supporting the rights of children and young people and providing a safe and supportive environment for them.
