<p>Commencing January 2025, St Peters Lutheran College Springfield is seeking to engage a Lower Strings Tutor, on a fee for service model (independent contractor) for 2025. </p><p>Established in 2008 St Peters Springfield is a growing Kindergarten to Year 12 Co-Educational Day School of the Lutheran Church located in the master planned city of Springfield. Fostering contemporary approaches to teaching and learning, St Peters Springfield is committed to providing rich, personalised learning experiences that encourage student agency, academic progress and wellbeing. Together academic staff and corporate staff provide an outstanding educational environment for students to grow and flourish.</p><p>The service arrangement will include responsibility for:</p><ul><li>Preparation and delivery of cello and double bass tuition within the frameworks in place in the School</li><li>Teaching collaboratively with the Upper Strings Teacher in the Year 3 compulsory Classroom Strings Program</li><li>Maintaining accurate records of student progress</li><li>Prepare students and ensembles for music presentations throughout the year e.g. Assemblies, Open Day, Music Soirees, Studio Concerts, Performing Arts Showcase Evenings and Eisteddfods as well as various performances in the wider community</li><li>Maintaining up-to-date Public Liability insurance and providing appropriate documentation for College's records annually.</li></ul><p><i>Curious?</i> Visit www.stpeters.qld.edu.au </p><p><strong>To apply,</strong> please submit a CV and brief cover letter, outlining how you meet the Key Selection Criteria:</p><ul><li>SC1: Qualification - Bachelor of Music Performance essential.
