Cranbrook School is seeking an experienced and energetic early childhood educator to join our dynamic Pre-school team.

<p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong></p><p>Based at our St Mark’s campus in Darling Point the successful candidate will work with children in our five day group. You are committed to continual professional development and reflection, and have a genuine interest in the growth of young people.</p><p><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p><ul><li>Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent</li><li>A minimum of two years’ experience working as an early childhood educator </li><li>Experience in additional needs and inclusion support will be highly regarded.</li><li>Experience in digital documentation and journals</li><li>Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Familiarity with the Education and Care Services National Law, the Education and Care Services National Regulations, National Quality Framework, and the Early Years Learning Framework</li><li>A level of mobility that supports the ability to respond to a first aid / behavioural incident</li><li>Current First Aid and CPR qualifications </li><li>A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children </li><li>A demonstrated understanding of child safety and appropriate behaviours when engaging with children. </li></ul><p>Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme would be advantageous.</p><p><strong>CLOSING DATE: 31 January 2025</strong></p><p><strong>ABOUT CRANBROOK SCHOOL</strong></p><p>Cranbrook is an Anglican, independent day and boarding school, Pre-school to Year 12. </p><p>Our vision is to be a world class school which encourages and enables all of our students to explore, enjoy and fulfil their potential.
