Our teaching teams collaborate to highlight the school’s commitment to lifelong learning for both staff and students.</p><p>We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Administrative Assistant for the following position: <strong>Administrative Assistant – Learning Diversity</strong>.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide administrative support to the Learning Diversity department including (but not limited to) scheduling and organising PSG meetings  and managing Professional Learning Plans to ensure they are updated and distributed appropriately.</li><li>Collate and summarise data for the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) on students with disabilities.</li><li>Coordinate transition meetings for new students with special learning needs.</li><li>Perform general administrative tasks such as ordering equipment, booking external providers, photocopying, scanning, and filing documentation.</li><li>Maintain communication with students, families, and staff via newsletters and daily notes.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, students, and external stakeholders.</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.</li><li>Experience working with children and understanding of child safety.</li><li>Familiarity with database management systems.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Join John Paul College:</strong></p><ul><li>Be part of a supportive and dynamic educational community.</li><li>Opportunities for professional development.</li></ul><p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p><ul><li>Full-time, ongoing position.</li><li>Commencing ASAP.</li><li>Employment conditions as per the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA), ESE Category B, Level 2.</li></ul><p>If you are motivated and ready to make a difference in students&#39; lives, we want to hear from you!
