For further information about Rosebank College, please visit our website: www.rosebank.nsw.edu.au.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About the Role </strong></p><p>A school of <i>Good Samaritan Education</i>, Rosebank College, seeks expressions of interest for the Communications and Engagement Manager position to lead the Communication and Engagement team in a permanent full-time capacity.</p><p>Commencing as soon as possible and reporting directly to the Principal, this role is responsible for providing leadership in developing and promoting the Rosebank College brand, communications, media, events, community engagement, and marketing strategies. The Communications and Engagement Manager is responsible for the Communications and Engagement Team's leadership, including the Digital and Creative Officer, Events Manager, Community and Engagement Liaison, Administration Assistant (Archives/ Alumni), and Archivist. The Communications and Engagement Manager will work with the team to translate strategies into College-wide campaigns to support the strategic plan, mission, vision, values, and College growth and improvement.</p><p>This role works collaboratively with all staff within the College, including students and external stakeholders, media outlets, event groups, parents and carers, students, and alumni groups.</p><p>The College offers excellent support to all staff to enable them to develop on their professional journey through professional development. All staff must demonstrate a commitment to the ideals and ethos of Catholic Education.</p><p>For further information about the role, view the <i>position description</i> located on the application form online.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>As the Communications and Engagement Manager, you will :</p><ul><li>Lead a dynamic team of professionals in delivering Rosebank’s strategic communications and marketing initiatives.</li><li>Oversee the strategic internal and external communications and marketing, brand management, media, social media engagement, community awareness campaigns, fundraising and stakeholder engagement strategies on behalf of the College.</li><li>Amplify the work of the Rosebank brand through innovative campaigns and media engagement, consistently implementing best practice methods.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team and directly contribute to the College’s mission and vision.</li><li>Demonstrate flexibility by taking on additional roles within the team as required</li><li>Always act in the best interest of Rosebank College.</li></ul><p> </p><p>The successful candidate will be a competent support staff member highly motivated to support Rosebank College. It is an expectation that all staff support the vision and goals of the College as a learning community and contribute to all aspects of College life.</p><p>To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:</p><ul><li>Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related field.</li><li>A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in communications or marketing.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in leading social marketing campaigns (community awareness/behaviour) and experience with community engagement methodologies.</li><li>Highly developed strategic marketing, communications, and project management skills in a fast-paced, complex environment.</li><li>Proven track record in successful delivery and evaluation of campaigns and critical</li><li>Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills</li><li>Experience managing relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, including senior leader</li><li>Ability to be self-motivated, responsive, and flexible in an environment with time pressures and multiple priorities.</li><li>The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</li><li>A willingness to promote the Good Samaritan and Benedictine values of the College.</li><li>Sound knowledge with a high level of computer literacy and demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office, Social Media Platforms, Google Business, WordPress, and database management</li><li>Possess a valid Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>A commitment to child safeguarding principles.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>The Process</strong></p><p>If you meet the requirements of this position, then please <strong>click the Apply button</strong> to submit your online application, to the Principal of Rosebank College.</p><p>When you complete the <i><strong>online application</strong></i>, you will need to provide:</p><ul><li>A copy of your CV;</li><li>A cover letter;</li><li>Copies of relevant academic qualifications and copies of transcripts;</li></ul><p> </p><p>Candidates that progress through our recruitment process, will be required to provide at least two (2) referees including the current employer.</p><p>Early applications are encouraged to assist the interview process.
