Over 51% of results were Band 5 or 6, and our students achieved 2,819 Distinguished Achiever mentions.<br><br>Be part of a system that fosters academic, creative, and vocational success, shaping future leaders every step of the way.<br><br>In addition, we offer:</p><ul><li>remuneration package valued at up to $140,226 Base salary ranges from $87,550 to $125,763</li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li><li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>As an <strong>EAL/D Teacher</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br><br>To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p><ul><li>witness to a living and active Catholic faith in practice and belief</li><li>assist with the identification of students with special educational needs, consult and collaborate with parents, colleagues, SCS personnel and external providers, and facilitate referral and assessment procedures where necessary</li><li>teach and deliver intervention particularly with EAL/D students and assist teachers with curriculum differentiation</li><li>collaborate with class teachers and other relevant people to assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring and review of adjustments, as documented in the Personalised Plan (PP) or Learner Profile (LP)</li><li>work collaboratively with classroom teachers and Learning Support personnel</li><li>contribute to the provision of staff professional development and parent education programs</li><li>contribute to the preparation of documentation required under legislation in line with privacy, confidentiality, and disability obligations, for example, pre-enrolment documentation, and assist in the preparation of submissions for the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD)</li><li>employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li><li>be committed to working collaboratively in a team</li><li>possess enthusiasm for and and the ability to contribute to the development of whole school initiatives</li><li>have well developed interpersonal and organisational skills</li><li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being.</li></ul><p>You will have attained:</p><ul><li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li><li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li><li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"><u>Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</u></a>.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
