Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking passionate and enthusiastic Sport Head Coaches, and Team Coaches to be part of our Junior and Senior co-curricular sport programs.

<p><strong>Do you have a passion for sport and coaching?</strong></p><p>Redeemer Lutheran College is actively seeking to recruit the following sport coaching positions for 2025</p><p><strong>Head Coaches</strong>: </p><ul><li>AFL, Basketball, Indoor Cricket, Netball, Soccer and Volleyball</li><li>Provide coaching leadership and planning for all teams in the respective sport</li><li>Attend all training sessions and games including Saturday mornings</li><li>Roles are for between 10-15 hours per week subject to level of competitions</li></ul><p><strong>Junior School Team Coaches</strong>:</p><ul><li>Term 1 &#61; AFL, Netball</li><li>Term 2 &#61; Indoor Cricket, Touch Football</li><li>Roles are 4-6 hours per week including Wednesday afternoon (training) and Saturday mornings (games)</li></ul><p>  <strong>Senior School Team Coaches</strong>:</p><ul><li>Term 1 &#61; AFL, Basketball and Volleyball</li><li>Term 2 &#61; Indoor Cricket, Netball, Soccer, Touch Football</li><li>Roles are for 4-6 hours per week including Monday – Thursday morning and/or afternoons (training) and Saturday mornings (games)</li></ul><p>Your duties will include (but not be limited to):</p><ul><li>Preparing and implementing suitable training sessions for primary and/or secondary sport teams</li><li>Coach the fundamental skills of the respective sports, and also coach the rules of the game in conjunction with a strong emphasis on teamwork and good sportsmanship.</li><li>Maximize the effectiveness of and student engagement during training sessions</li><li>Ensure the safe and appropriate use of Redeemer sporting equipment and facilities at all times</li><li>Coach on game day with an emphasis on student development and executing team processes, and not solely on game outcomes.</li></ul><p><strong>The successful applicant will ideally have the following skills and qualities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Knowledge and experience in coaching primary / secondary school students</li><li>Coaching accreditation in respective sport or willingness to work towards within 6 months of appointment</li><li>Have student safety at the forefront of everything during all training sessions and games</li><li>Display discretion, confidentiality, honesty and integrity in their relationships with all students, fellow coaches, umpires / referee’s and college staff</li><li>Proactively communicate with individual students, coaches and staff as necessary and always present the College in the best possible light</li><li>Sound organisational, interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>The ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment</li><li>Maintain a high level of personal and professional presentation at all times</li><li>Be positive in support of the college&#39;s traditions and Christian ethos.</li></ul><p> </p>
